Adam Horan

Executive Director

Adam Horan is a dedicated and compassionate professional who has spent the last decade working in Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse. Born in Boulder, CO, Adam has made a significant impact on the lives of many individuals through his work in this field. He has been instrumental in the growth and development of Revive Health and Recovery, LLC, having served as a Clinical Case Manager, Residential Director, and Admission Manager before taking on his current position. Bringing his extensive background in the field has allowed him to develop a nuanced understanding of the challenges faced by individuals on their journey to recovery.

In addition to his professional work, Adam is also actively involved in various volunteer activities. He is recognized in Boulder County for his volunteer work, fostering a sense of community and support within the region. As a father of two wonderful children, he knows the importance of nurturing both a structured, goal-driven mindset and a vibrant, imaginative spirit. In his free time, Adam pursues his love for music, oil painting, and building cars. Adam’s unique combination of his dedication to his profession, community, expertise, and creative interests sets him apart as an invaluable asset to the Revive team.

Kayla Bauer, LAC

Primary Therapist

Kayla, is a dedicated and experienced Licensed Addiction Counselor with a deep expertise in mental health, substance use disorders, and holistic healing approaches. Throughout her career, Kayla has worked across a diverse range of care settings, including detox, residential treatment (RTC), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), psychiatric inpatient, and outpatient mental health programs. Her extensive experience enables her to support individuals at every stage of their recovery journey.

Kayla holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Services, and a Master of Science in Clinical Behavioral Health with a specialization in Addiction Studies from Metropolitan State University of Denver. In addition to her academic qualifications, she is also a certified Master Reiki Practitioner, incorporating energy work to help clients address physical and emotional blockages, and foster a deeper sense of self-awareness and balance.

Known for her heart-centered approach, Kayla is passionate about helping others live authentically and from the heart. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where clients can discover their own truth, challenge societal norms, and embrace their inner strength.

Believing that true healing encompasses the mind, body, and soul, Kayla continually seeks ways to guide her clients toward the realization that the answers they seek already exist within them. Her advocacy for equality and justice informs her therapeutic philosophy, and she strives to create a compassionate environment where every individual can grow, heal, and thrive.
